Banfi Vintners Introduces Bell’agio

Banfi Vintners Introduces Bell’agio, A New Rosso Dolce Sparkling Wine, With National Launch Event In Miami Hosted By Norma Now

To celebrate the launch of the subtly sweet and seductively sparkling rosso dolce wine, Bell’Agio announced the debut of its “Belles” campaign with a national kick-off event hosted by Norma Now at The Basement in Miami Beach. As the ladies who put the “Belle” in Bell’Agio, Norma Now and two additional Belles – the sexy Erica G from Tampa and the stylish Ashley Outrageous from New York City – partied the night away as guests enjoy being among the first to indulge in the bliss that is the new Bell’Agio – a tempting blend of sweet ripe-raspberry and cherry flavors.

“As creators of Riunite – the hottest selling Lambrusco in the US – we are excited to bring a new and different style of sparkling red to America’s tables with the launch of Bell’Agio,” said Charles Dellavecchia, European Portfolio Director, Banfi Vintners. “We’re also celebrating our national launch with the introduction of our Belle ambassadors, women who embody the bold and sexy essence of this new rosso dolce, and fans will get to meet them on the club scene in Miami, New York, and Tampa throughout the rest of the year.”

The Bell’Agio Belles program will continue over the next few months with events hosted by well-known club goers Erica G (Tampa) and Ashley Outrageous (New York), while Norma Now will continue rocking the Miami scene and sampling Bell’Agio. To find where the Belles will be and when, fans can visit DrinkBellagio.com and follow the brand @DrinkBellAgio on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #BeaBelle.

Along with the Belles, certified Advanced Sommelier Sarah Brownell was at the Miami event, bringing her seasoned palate, wine expertise, and knowledge of the trendy wine scene of southern Florida. She is known on the Miami scene as former sommelier and wine director of Emeril’s Miami Beach at the Lowes Hotel; wine director for Miami’s Barton G Restaurant Corporation; and at the Miami Culinary Institute/Tuyo Restaurant. Brownell unveiled five signature Bell’Agio cocktails for guests to enjoy at the event, each representing the unique flavors of the rosso dolce and the “Belles” who enjoy it, including: Bell’Rose (she’s sophisticated), Bell’Berry (she’s sweet), Bell’Twist (she keeps you on your toes), The HighBell’ (she’s strong) and Bell’Mosa (she’s chic).

About Bell’Agio Rosso Dolce
Bell’Agio Rosso Dolce is crafted from two Lambrusco grade varietals – Salamino and Grasparossa. Lambrusco’s lush, crispy and slightly sweet and sparkling character gives Bell’Agio its vibrant and seductive taste. Deep red with violent hints, Bell’Agio has a fresh bouquet with hints of red fruits, especially raspberry and blackberry. Full-bodied with a pleasant, sweet note, Bell’Agio is well-balanced with some acidity and natural sparkling note. It is available currently in 15 markets nationwide.
